The Autism Clinic is designed as a calm, intuitive environment that supports children through clear wayfinding and sensory-conscious design. The space uses color coding, soft forms, and natural materials to guide movement and reduce stress, creating a sense of safety and familiarity. Organized to balance active and quiet zones, the clinic fosters comfort, independence, and positive interaction for both children and their caregivers.
Concept
The project blends autism-sensitive design with imaginative storytelling to create a clinic where children can explore, daydream, and grow. Through curved forms, soft palettes, flexible play zones, and fantasy-inspired spatial cues, the design supports emotional regulation while nurturing creativity. Imagination becomes both a therapeutic tool and a design principle.

The waiting area is designed as a calm and welcoming space, using soft tones, rounded forms, and natural materials to reduce stress and create comfort. Curved elements and open visibility allow for easy movement and clear orientation, while the central play area provides a controlled space for children to engage. The layout balances interaction and quiet zones, supporting both children and caregivers within a relaxed and supportive environment.
Kids Learning Area
The kids’ learning area is designed as an interactive and engaging space, using soft materials, natural light, and playful elements to support focus and creativity. Rounded forms and low seating create a comfortable scale for children, while integrated features encourage learning through play in a calm and structured environment.
Parents Counseling Room
The parents’ counseling space is designed as a calm and private environment that supports open communication and comfort. Soft tones, natural materials, and diffused lighting create a relaxed atmosphere, while integrated child-friendly elements allow children to remain nearby in a safe and engaging setting. The space balances privacy and openness, supporting both caregivers and professionals throughout the consultation process.
Adults Counseling Room
The adult consultation room is designed as a quiet and focused space that supports clear communication and comfort. Warm materials, soft lighting, and simple forms create a calm atmosphere, while integrated storage and shelving provide a structured and organized setting.
